Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 offers tons of thrilling missions filled with enemies, but perhaps one of the most exciting parts of the game is defeating bosses.

The Lictor is one of the first boss enemies you'll encounter. He's a Tyranid who will stalk you and emerge from the shadows to hit you as hard as he can. In this guide, we'll show you how to beat the Lictor and progress fast in Space Marine 2.

After you complete the first part of the Severance mission, you'll be ambushed by the Lictor. Make sure to get the Bolt Carbine outside of the arena and refill your ammo supplies. Don't worry if you're out of grenades; you can always use the Krak Grenades scattered across the battlefield.

The Lictor boss uses the hit-and-run strategy, and he teleports in 5 different spots around the arena only to dash toward you at the end. Keep in mind that he loves hanging off the walls. To track him, listen for the low-pitched noise he makes from time to time. However, don't let him move around too much and stagger him before the fifth teleportation. If you can't, he'll pounce on you.

When you see a red circle, dodge, or you'll be pinned down. If you manage to put the Lictor on the ground, parry his Light Attacks, and try to achieve a Perfect Dodge. This will allow you to gun strike the Lictor and stun him for a bit. Don't forget to use the Krak Grenades to lower his HP as well.

It's important to note that every time you take away a quarter of the Lictor's HP, he'll spawn a few Hormogaunts, so try to find the Tyranid Warrior of the group and execute him. This will kill the rest. Until the fight is done, keep dodging, performing gun strikes, and dealing as much damage as you can.

In Multiplayer, the Lictor will have a lot less HP and he'll be easier to defeat, but don't underestimate this enemy; he can still kill you if he catches you by surprise. Otherwise, beating the Lictor is essentially the same in every mode, so simply use the strategies mentioned above.
