Black Myth Wukong All Chapter 1 Bosses
During Chapter 1 of Black Myth Wukong, you will encounter a total of 11 bosses. Out of all of them, 4 are Yaoguai Kings. The other 4 are Yaoguai Chiefs, and the last 2 are secret bosses. There is also one who is simply a character, but more about him later. Now, let's dive in!
Bullguard
The first boss enemy you will encounter in Black Myth Wukong is the Bullguard, and he will block your way when you try to reach the Forest of Wolves. He is very slow, but this will teach you how to dodge the attacks of future enemies, so take this as a learning opportunity. Halfway through the fight, you will unlock the Immobilize Spell.
- Location: Forest Of Wolves, Front Hills
Wandering Wight
You will find the Wandering Wight right beyond the Outside The Forest Keeper's Shrine, shortly after your fight with the Bullguard. This boss might be challenging if you're a beginner, but don't get discouraged; you will definitely defeat him after a few tries.
- Location: Forest Of Wolves, Outside The Forest

Guangzhi
Walk in the opposite direction of the location where you fought the Wandering Wight, and you will find Guangzhi. Start at the region's Shrine and take the left path. Cross the bridge and keep following the left road. You will recognize this boss by the flaming double-edged sword. Thankfully, Guangzhi doesn't have a lot of health, so make sure to use your Immobilize Spell to deal damage.
- Location: Forest Of Wolves, Outside The Forest
Lingxuzi
Lingxuzi is a big wolf who has two attacks: a quick two-part swipe combo and a charging bite attack. If you have already gained access to the Red Tides Spell, don't be afraid to use it. This boss fight isn't really difficult, especially if you already know the attacks that you can expect.
- Location: Forest Of Wolves, Guanyin Temple

Baw-Li-Guhh-Lang
When you reach the pretty part of the river running through Bamboo Grove, you will spot the giant amphibian called Baw-Li-Guhh-Lang. He isn't so difficult to defeat, although he could be very annoying; his backward kick can always catch you by surprise, and his tongue attack swings back and forth multiple times. After you take him down, you will absorb his spirit. This will allow you to transform into him during later fights.
- Location: Bamboo Grove, Snake Trail
Guangmou
Unlike Baw-Li-Guhh-Lang, you are guaranteed to run into Guangmou since he is part of the main story path. He uses magic, a lot of ranged attacks, area-of-effect shockwaves, and poison sprays. Sounds difficult? Don't worry; just dodge the attacks and use Staff-spinning to protect yourself. If you manage to get close to him, his skills will become pretty much useless.

Whiteclad Noble
The Whiteclad Noble is neither a King nor a Chief, but you shouldn't underestimate him. He has two health bars, an extremely long reach, and the ability to transform into a merman. Make sure to use the Pillar Stance during the fight and avoid his attacks while yours are charging. The most important thing here is to always be aware of how much stamina you have left.
- Location: Bamboo Grove, Marsh Of White Mist
Black Wind King
Most players need a few attempts until they manage to defeat the Black Wind King, as he can very easily break out of the Immobilize Spell. His combos are long, and he can turn into an invincible gust of wind that attacks you constantly. If you want to take him down, make sure to defeat the Wandering Wight and the Guangzhi first because they will provide you with the Red Tides Spell and the Wandering Wight Spirit.
- Location: Black Wind Cave, Cave Interior

Black Bear Guai
Although you will meet the Black Bear Guai first, we recommend taking down Elder Jinchi before starting this fight since he will give you an item that is useful against flame attacks. The Black Bear Guai transforms into pure flames, which will attack you repeatedly. The telltale sign of an incoming charge is the slight burst of air; that's how you can time your dodges.
- Location: Black Wind Cave, Bodhi Peak
Elder Jinchi
Elder Jinchi is a secret boss who looks very similar to the Wandering Wight. He also has almost the same attacks. The only difference is that he spawns minions that can restore his health. However, you can easily ignore them until he commands them to attack you. Then, you will have to take them down, but once you do it, they will restore your health. - Location: Ancient Guanyin Temple, Grand Chamber
The Red Loong
The Red Loong is a secret boss that you can unlock only after you've obtained the Loong Scale from Chapter 2. Then, you can return and fight him. All you need to do is interact with the waterfall in the Outside The Forest Keeper's Shrine, and he will appear.
- Location: Forest Of Wolves, Loong Claw Grove
