Black Myth Wukong offers a total of four Bane effects that players and bosses can inflict on each other. Poison is one of these effects, and if you want to enhance it and make it work in your favor, you have to consider creating a build around it.

Poison deals a lot of damage over time, and its duration can be significantly increased. In this guide, we'll show you how to create the perfect Poison Bane build in Black Myth Wukong, so you can progress even faster.

Black Myth Wukong Best Poison Bane Build Weapons

The best weapon for the Poison Bane build is the Adept Spine-Shooting Fuban Staff. However, be aware that you can craft this weapon only after you've played in New Game Plus. This staff has a 25% Critical Hit Chance, and it can attack all enemies in its range with spines after you use a Heavy Attack with Focus Points.

In case you don't have the Adept Spine-Shooting Fuban Staff yet, you can always opt for the Spider Celestial Staff, which is an upgraded version of the Chitin Staff. It can recover a good amount of your Health and inflict enemies with Poison Bane when you're in a Poisoned State.

Black Myth Wukong Best Poison Bane Build Armor & Vessel

The Weaver's Needle is an incredible Vessel, which allows you to increase your Critical Hit Chance and Critical Hit Damage. To boost the Poison DMG you deal, we recommend using the Scorpion Prince Spirit as well.

The Centipede Qiang-Jin Armor is hands-down the best option for protection since it will reduce the received damage and increase the damage you deal to enemies who are in Poisoned State. The only catch is that you have to use all four pieces to get these benefits.

Black Myth Wukong Best Poison Bane Build Curios & Gourds

The Supreme Gourd will provide you with 10 Sips, which is great considering how much you usually need for healing. Moreover, you can combine that with the Loong Balm Drink, the Tiger Relic, and Deathstinger to boost the overall damage of the Poison Bane build.

The Amber Prayer Beads Curios will increase the Focus Points you gain. If you want to use more Curios, we suggest getting either the Beast Buddha or the Spine in the Shack to achieve the same effect.

Black Myth Wukong Best Poison Bane Build Skills

The most important skill to use for the Poison Bane build is Mobile Spin since it will allow you to spin your staff and deflect projectiles aimed at you. All the other abilities will only enhance this skill by reducing the Stamina cost and increasing the Focus you gain from successfully using the Mobile Spin.

Keep in mind that Stances don't matter in this case, and you can use whatever you're comfortable with. We recommend the Thrust Stance if you want to create distance from the enemy.
