Sword of Night And Flame

The Sword of Night And Flame can be found in Caria Manor and it scales wonderfully with Intelligence. It has powerful attacks and boosts to physical, fire, and magical damage. However, be aware that it cannot be equipped with an alternative Ash of War, but its ability called Night-and-Flame stance is so amazing that you'll never want to change it anyway.

  • Type: Straight Sword
  • Attribute Scaling: Str, Dex, Int, Fai
  • Attribute Requirements: Str 12, Dex 12, Int 24, Fai 24

Reduvia

Reduvia can be used both as a sidearm and a main weapon, and it will be dropped by the invading NPC Bloody Finger Nerijus after you kill him. He will evade as you are moving up the river, north of Agheel Lake, right after you meet Yura. Don't hesitate to let him help you take down the enemy. Reduvia causes passive bleed damage and it can be equipped as a secondary weapon to cause some bleed build-up.

  • Type: Dagger
  • Attribute Scaling: Str, Dex, Arc
  • Attribute Requirement: Str 5, Dex 13, Arc 13

If you're a starting Samurai character, the Uchigatana is perfect for you. You can find it inside the Deathtouched Catacombs in Stormhil very early in the expansion, and it's especially useful to Dexterity and Intelligence builds. It can also be a great addition to the Rivers of Blood weapon that you can find later in the DLC if you want to maximize bleed damage by dual-wielding two katanas.

  • Type: Katana
  • Attribute Scaling: Str, Dex
  • Attribute Requirement: Str 11, Dex 15

Claymore

Claymore is very balanced, and it's one of the most reliable mid-weight greatswords out there. Although you will probably end up exchanging it for a more powerful weapon eventually, it will definitely serve you well for a big portion of the DLC. It is located in the Castle Morne courtyard near the pile or burning corpses.

  • Type: Greatsword
  • Attribute Scaling: Str, Dex
  • Attribute Requirement: Str 16, Dex 13

The Greataxe can be found in the chest of the first carriage pulled by the giants near the gateway to Stormveil Castle. Attack the giants to distract them, then go to the back and open the chest. Be careful because soon you'll be outnumbered by enemies. Try to get the Greataxe and run as fast as you can.

  • Type: Greataxe
  • Attribute Scaling: Str, Dex
  • Attribute Requirement: Str 30, Dex 8

Meteorite Staff

The Meteorite Staff is in the swamp near the Sellia Crystal Tunnel, and it inflicts massive meteor damage when you upgrade it. It is an incredibly useful weapon for all caster builds. While you're in the area, make sure to grab the Rotten Stray Ashes as well.

  • Type: Glintstone Staff
  • Attribute Scaling: Str, Int
  • Attribute Requirement: Str 6, Int 18

Dragon Communion Seal

The Dragon Communion Seal is located in the Fringefolk Hero's Grave, and you might have to do a little platforming to get it, but it's definitely worth the effort. It gives significant damage boosts to Dragon Communion spells. However, you will need a Sword Stone Key to enter the dungeon and it might be a tough area to wander around.

  • Type: Colossal Weapon
  • Attribute Scaling: Fai, Arc
  • Attribute Requirement: Fai 10, Arc 10
