Thankfully, the Ancient Archives aren't difficult to find, and all you need to do is get behind the waterfall on the Ancient Isle. Keep in mind that the entrance is from above, and you'll have to use the ziplines to climb up there. Once you reach the last spot, jump on the ledge, and it will lead you to the cave. When you're behind the waterfall, descend by using the rope, and you'll reach the entrance to the Ancient Archives.

However, the first step towards unlocking them is collecting the four Ancient Archive Fragments in the game. It's worth mentioning that sometimes you won't see the Collect button when you approach a Fragment. This is a bug in the game, and you can fix it by switching servers.

Deep Sea Fragment

The Deep Sea Fragment is under the waterfall. There's a little catch, though. You have to use your Diving Equipment to go under the water. That's the exact location of the Deep Sea Fragment. If you don't have the advanced Diving Equipment, use whatever you have available. Last, but not least, make sure to unequip your gear, because it will drag you down and you'll drown.

Ancient Fragment

The Ancient Fragment can only be obtained through fishing, but you have to do this activity in the ocean. Moreover, we recommend using Maggot as bait to boost your chances of catching the Ancient Fragment.

Solar Fragment

The Solar Fragment is slightly more difficult to get. You need to find the Merchant, turn left, and keep climbing until you stumble upon a tall hill with a tree on it. Reach it and pick up the Solar Fragment from underneath it. However, be aware that you can only take the item during Solar Eclipse. If you get there at the wrong time, use an Eclipse Totem to change your conditions. Activate it during the daytime to get the effect you're looking for, and once you do it, run to the Archives as soon as you can.

Earth Fragment

Once you obtain the Solar Fragment, go towards the tree on the left, located close to the edge of the cliff. Keep walking forward and make sure to stick to the right side. Look down and you'll soon notice a wooden fence. Jump down and enter the cave. That's where you'll get the Earth Fragment along with the Phoenix Rod and the Eclipse Totem. We suggest purchasing two Totems if you have some leftover money, so you don't have to walk around searching for the item when you need it.

If you want to unlock the Ancient Archives in Fisch, you have to wait for the Eclipse. However, if you're impatient or don't manage to reach the Archives before the end of the event, don't worry; just use the Eclipse Totem to start it from the beginning. In any case, you'll need four people to unlock the Archives, and each of you has to stand on one of the pressure plates.

Then put every Fragment into its Pillar and rotate them. You'll know that you've placed them correctly if the gate starts glowing. Once the door opens, you'll access the Archives. When you get there, you'll reach the Rod Crafting table, and you'll be able to complete the Archives Bestiary.
