Mavuika is one of the more versatile characters in Genshin Impact. Due to her unique kit, she can be played in a variety of ways, with her two main playstyles being an on-field DPS and an off-field Pyro applicator. Depending on which playstyle you choose to go for, you will naturally have different builds but also different teams. DPS Mavuika Best Teams
When it comes to the on-field Mavuika playstyle, we want to focus on teams that feature other Natlan characters so that we can quickly build up Mavuika’s elemental burst. And this can only be done by consuming a ton of Nightsoul Points. In addition, Mavuika performs great in teams that trigger Melt or Vaporize reactions, as a good part of her damage comes from the initial hit of her ultimate. As such we can summarize that some of Mavuika’s best teammates will be Xilonen and Citlali.

This team is by far Mavuika’s best DPS team. Xilonen is here to help with Nightsoul Point consumption and resistance shred that comes from her Elemental Burst. Citlali is here to help with her amazing Pyro RES shred and allow Mavuika to trigger the Melt reactions. While Benny? Well, Bennett is here to provide his overpowered ATK buff and extra healing. Besides, everyone playing the game already knows that he’s the true Pyro Archon, so pairing him with Mavuika only seems natural.

Here we remove one of Mavuika’s best support and replace her with Furina to allow Mavuika to perform Vaporize rather than Melt. While this team lacks the Pyro RES shred that comes from Citlali, Furina’s sheer support potential is more than enough to cover for that. And if you happen to have a strong Furina, you will also see some bit hits from her minions just shooting on the field. All in all, while this team is one notch weaker than Mavuika’s optimal DPS team, it still performs exceedingly well.

Support Mavuika Best Teams
Apart from being an on-field DPS, Mavuika is also an amazing off-field Pyro applicator who greatly boosts the damage of all Natlan characters in the team. In reality, Mavuika is just a better Xiangling. Although she doesn’t apply Pyro as often as Xiangling, Mavuika’s Pyro application is also not tied to her Elemental Burst, which already makes her a better Pyro applicator. In addition, she also provides more damage thanks to her Elemental Burst and is generally way more freeing to play than Xiangling. As such, you can assume that any team that uses Xiangling will benefit from swapping her for Mavuika.

With the introduction of Mavuika, Kinich finally has a great off-field pyro applicator that can use the [Scroll of the Hero of Cinder City] to buff his damage. Mavuika is a great addition to any Kinich team and will greatly increase the personal damage of Kinich due to not limiting him to Bennett’s circle or Dehya’s Elemental Skill range.

In this team, Mavuika provides a great damage boost to Chasca thanks to her personal damage potential and just amazing Pyro application. While you will be losing out on a bit of Chasca’s damage due to having two teammates of the same element, Mavuika’s sheer damage potential and being able to hold the Scroll of the Hero of Cinder City more than makes up for that difference.
