Helldivers 2: Mech Suits Potential Release Date & Details

It's been a month since the release of Helldivers 2, and many players have already managed to significantly increase their arsenal by unlocking all of the weapons, armor sets, and Stratagems available in the game. The developers seem to agree, with the new Cutting Edge Warbond releasing in less than a week's time, giving players even more toys to spread managed democracy with. This new Warbond, however, is not even the most exciting thing rumored to be added to the game.

There have been many leaks and teasers over the last month about the upcoming Mech Suits, and some recent information has revealed that we might be really close to getting them. In this article, we are going to cover the expected release date of the new Mech Suits in Helldivers 2.

Helldivers 2: Mech Suits Release Date & Details

There is currently no official release date for the addition of the new Mech Suits, but based on the teasers made by Arrowhead Game Studios and all of the upcoming content we already know about, we can make an educated guess. Based on speculation and leaks, we believe that there are two possible dates on which the Mech Suits can arrive in Helldivers 2:

The Liberation of Tien Kwan

The global campaign of Helldivers 2 is based on Major Orders that are appointed by Joel, a developer at Arrowhead Game Studios and the current 'Dungeon Master' of the game. The latest Major Order seems to be leading up to the release of the Mech Suits, with the task being the liberation of the Tien Kwan planet. Based on the in-game description, Tien Kwan is the ''sole arsenal of new Exosuit technology,'' and by liberating it, we are supposed to be able to access this tech. Here is the description of the new Major Order:

• New Major Order: Tien Kwan is home to the sole arsenal of new Exosuit technology. It is only a matter of time before the Automatons discover the arsenal and steal it for themselves. Liberate Tien Kwan before it's too late.

The Helldivers 2 account on X is also promoting the liberation of the planet, with a picture of a Mech Suit called the 'EXO-45 Patriot Exosuit.' This Major Order ends on March 10th, which could be the official release date of the Mechs in Helldivers 2. Keep in mind that this is speculation, but all roads seem to lead there.

The Release of the Cutting Edge Warbond

If the Mech Suits are not released after the current Major Order ends, our next prediction is that they will become available alongside the Cutting Edge Warbond, which is releasing on March 14th. This date also makes a lot of sense since the new Warbond is likely to require a patch for it to become available in-game, and they might use this opportunity to add in the Mech Suits as well.

With the speculation between March 10th and March 14th, it's very likely that we are going to be able to try the new Mech Suits within the next week. Hopefully, no delays happen, and the servers are able to remain stable so players are able to start spreading managed democracy from the safety of their brand new Mechs.
