With the Swiss Stage now over, eight teams will be moving on to the Knockout Stage (Quarterfinals) for a chance at the World Championship title. After a very bloody and chaotic Groups Stage, the LPL, LCK, and LCS teams will have to survive the gauntlet in the best-of-five (Bo5) series in Paris.
Should they be successful, they will be able to go to London and give it their all for the glory and recognition to be crowned the League of Legends Champions. With that being said, we will go over the schedule for the fourth match of the Quarterfinals.

LoL Worlds 2024 Quarterfinals Format and Schedule
The Quarterfinals will consist of six rounds of best-of-fives (Bo5) between all eight of the qualified teams as everyone will have only one shot at advancing further up the bracket to the Finals.
- Knockout Stage (8 Teams): October 17-20, October 26-27
- Worlds 2024 Finals Date (2 Teams): November 2 (Saturday)
The meta has been established more-or-less after the Swiss Stage, but we might see some drastic off-meta picks, further proving why Worlds is the biggest and most exciting League of Legends tournament of the year.
LoL Worlds 2024 Patch
Players will compete on the 14.18 Patch as it brought a lot of buffs and nerfs to pro-play champions that were dominating the meta. We will also get to see Aurora in action, so be on the lookout for this bunny mage making some sick plays in the hands of the best players in the world.
The item changes also will heavily impact the meta, as we might see champs like Orianna, Syndra, Hwei, and Ahri making a comeback, with possibly far fewer ADC mid picks.

LoL Worlds 2024 Quarterfinals Day 4 Schedule
The fourth match of the Knockout Stage will be between the undefeated LCK team and the only remaining Western team, namely GEN and FLY.
Teams | Date |
GEN vs FLY | October 20, 2024 (14:00 CEST) |
There is no beating around the bush, the Eastern teams are phenomenal this time around, and the West has been struggling for years to defeat them on the international stage. Despite NA being clowned on by fans and analysts, there is still a small glimmer of hope that FLY will be able to show up and avoid getting 3-0'd.
Since this is the Knockout Stage, both teams have only one chance to advance further to the Semifinals as this epic clash between the best team in the LCK and the last hope of the LCS. We are in for a great series, and hopefully FLY is able to catch GEN off guard so be ready for some great League of Legends come Sunday.
