In Manor Lords, you are the ruler of your settlements and are in charge of every aspect of life for your people. From choosing what to plant in your fields to forming a militia, everything is up to you. Of course, this applies to every problem in the village. You will have to deal with every issue that is caused by your stupid subjects.
It can be frustrating when you build a windmill and it doesn’t grind the grain as it should or when your sawpit stops working. Another problem that many players have come up against is that hunters stop hunting for no apparent reason. We will look into that now and see what we can do to fix it.

Possible Causes of Your Hunters Not Hunting in Manor Lords
There are a couple of causes for you hunters not doing their job in Manor Lords. The first is the most likely and depends completely on whether you have set the hunting limit to more than the available prey.
When you have built a Hunter’s Camp, you will have to set a limit on your hunting otherwise you will kill all animals in the area and there will be no way for them to reproduce. We should applaud Slavic Magic’s attention to historical accuracy here. Even though it makes it harder for us to feed our people, it is authentic.
In a normal hunting deposit in Manor Lords, there are 20 animals you can hunt. Check how much prey your hunters are allowed to hunt. If the available prey drops below the limit, the workers will become idle until their numbers rise. We do not recommend decreasing the limit too low otherwise it will take longer for the animals to procreate.

If you have checked your hunting limit and there are still available prey for your hunters to track but they are doing nothing then there is another solution. While whole families work at the Hunter’s Camp, it seems only the men go hunting. If those men are a part of your militia and are otherwise engaged, there will be nobody to hunt the animals.
You will have to disband your militia for the hunters to do their job. One of these solutions will enable your workers to get back to work. That’s everything you need to know about getting your hunters back hunting in Manor Lords. I hope this helps. Feel free to check out our other guides for Manor Lords below!
