Minecraft Live Event 2024
Mojang is hosting a 15th-anniversary celebration with the highly anticipated annual virtual live event. This year, Minecraft Live will be held virtually on September 28, at 1 PM ET/ 5 PM GMT. You can watch the event anywhere with an internet connection. Use your phone, tablet, PC, or game console to watch it on Minecraft.net/live, YouTube, or Twitch.
The event will be broadcast in English, but Mojang will later release translations in other languages, such as French, Mexican, Simplified Chinese, and others. During the live stream, you can expect to hear about upcoming game features, updates, and a lot of exciting news for both Minecraft veterans and freshmen alike.
Along with revealing new content, the Mojang team will talk a bit more about the upcoming PS5 port, yet to be announced with a release date.
Mojang Cancels Minecraft Mob Vote
Mojang is committed to releasing updates more frequently, as well as reworking the community votes that used to be held once in October. Now, Mojang wants to implement a semiannual live broadcast that will expand on the future patches Minecraft will go through and plans for the game.
This doesn't mean that Mojang will stop taking suggestions from the community, as they will keep reading feedback through the official Minecraft website until they find a direct replacement for the mob vote.
