Neely's Bar Jukebox Puzzle is the first big one you'll encounter in Silent Hill 2 Remake. To solve it, James must locate several components of the broken machine to start it up and progress further into the storyline.

Before you start the quest, it's more efficient to have found the three missing components from the Jukebox so you can fix the device at once rather than interrupt the progress by going out to find the missing elements.

We've ordered the list so that you learn about the components' locations first and then the solution to the puzzle itself. Without further ado, let's dive right in!

Neely's Bar Coin Location

Go through the northern door of the Texan Cafe at the end of Katz St.
Go to the cash register and take the coin from there.
Defeat the Lying Figure enemy that will appear afterward.

Broken Vinyl Record Location

Find the back room of the Groovy Music record store, on the north end of Neely St. by smashing through the windows and jumping over the wall.
Find the Broken Vinyl and Vinyl Glue on the table in the middle of the backroom.
Defeat the two Lying Figure enemies that will appear afterward.

Jukebox Button Location

Go inside Saul Street Apartments, which is located on Saul St. in the southern part of East South Vale.
Push away the cabinet blocking the doorway on 1F and go inside the room.
Pick up the Apartment Key on the rack inside the adjacent room.
Go up the stairs to 2F and unlock Room 5 with the Apartment Key.
Go inside and through the gap in the wall, then through the next gap, and hop over the window.
Climb the fire escape stairs and go through the window to 3F.
Find the hole at the back of the toilets.
Inside, you will find the Jukebox Button.

How to Fix the Jukebox

Now that you have all the missing components, here's a step-by-step guide on how to solve the Jukebox Puzzle:

Find the covered-up Jukebox inside Neely's Bar.
Interacting with the Jukebox will expose three components in red, blue, and green.
Align the Red and Green components so that the Red component can slide on top of the Green component's prongs when moved.
Once connected, turn the Green component back, out of the way of the Blue component.
Put down the Blue component, then turn the Green Component back towards the front.
Insert the Glued Up Vinyl into the record player.
Place the Jukebox Button in the empty slot on the left.
Insert Neely's Bar Coin into the coin slot on the right.
Press the C and 2 buttons on the left.

Note: This solution applies to all game modes.

Puzzle Reward

As a reward for completing the puzzle, after the cutscene, the Jukebox will drop Neely's Bar Key, which you can use on the door near the save point in the bar to continue your search for Mary. This will prompt you to continue your way towards Wood Side Apartments.
