Plunderstorm Event Basics

Blizzard shared that they wanted to try something different, something they haven't shown fans before, and that's how they came up with the idea for a Pirate-themed battle royale. This special event takes place in World of Warcraft and is available to all subscribers. There is no previous content or quest you need to finish before joining the Plunderstorm event.

• In this Blizzard spin on the battle royale, you'll get to customize your build and class after every match.
• Plunderstorm players can collect abilities from chests and by killing monsters or other players.
• All of this happens while players are pressured by a collapsing storm, pushing them together and thus encouraging more interesting fights.
• Each match lasts 10-15 minutes and consists of 60 players.
• The last team standing is declared the winner.

How to Join the Plunderstorm Event?

Plundering

Plundering is described as the core of the Plunderstorm Event. Players should actively go out and discover chests, which will give them a lot of rewards without having to grind for hours. Everything in this event is supposed to happen quickly and effortlessly.

Action Bar in Plunderstorm

Discover spells, abilities, and upgrades as you raid treasure chests and defeat enemies. Upon obtaining these rewards, they will immediately be placed in your Action Bar.

There will be two slots for offense and two for utility, such as leaps, speed boosts, and crowd-control maneuvers. This results in a much simpler UI, which is easy to use in sticky situations.

What are the Abilities in Plunderstorm?

Some abilities require quick reflexes and accurate targeting. WoW, players can experiment with different combinations tailored to their playstyle.

Upgrade your spells and abilities by finding higher-quality versions in treasure chests or by stacking the same ability to Rank 3 (Epic). Utilize the many opportunities to plunder! Treasure chests across the map contain abilities of different rarities.
