Plunderstom comes back with a bang, as a myriad of quality-of-life updates are also coming this time around, given how many players provided feedback during its first rendition. This time around, players will be able to directly purchase their desired cosmetics, instead of having to grind that pesky Renown system.

The event is rumored to be launched at the beginning of 2025, meaning it won't directly be available as soon as Patch 11.0.7 goes live. There are also some rumors that Plunderstorm will be integrated into the base version of the game, allowing players to directly queue up with their characters, instead of the game mode being isolated from WoW

Not only will there be returning cosmetics from the first run of the gamemode, but it seems Blizzard has added additional goodies worth picking up if you were able to collect everything. This time around, players will get to enjoy new pets, new mounts, new weapon transmogs, and a stylish pirate set which you can check out, here.

The event itself is very simple to get the hang of, and it seems the devs have also added a new Practice Mode according to the most recent datamining from the 11.0.7 PTR, so hopefully, more players will get to learn and more importantly, have fun playing Plunderstorm.

And that covers everything we know thus far for the return of the Plunderstorm event in The War Within. Best of luck on your adventures and may the RNG Gods bless you with some sweet gear.
