Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 offers a total of 6 Operation missions, and even though many fans complained that they are shorter than expected, all challenges are replayable and they contain different enemies.

It's important to note that the types of enemies you'll encounter during the Operations in Space Marine 2 are highly dependent on the difficulty level you have selected.

Inferno

The Inferno mission serves as a tutorial, and it's the first one you'll play in Operations mode. You will aim to detonate the Promethium Refinery and ambush your enemies. The objectives are straightforward, and although there are a lot of opponents there, you won't feel overwhelmed.

Decapitation

During the Decapitation Operation, you'll have to defeat a lot of Tyranids and rig a bridge with explosives to kill the Hive Tyrant. Even though you might have some trouble deploying the explosive charges, you'll easily complete the mission with good team coordination and some evasive tricks.

Fall of Atreus

For the Fall of Atreus, you'll really need to rely on your team, and everyone's abilities must work in perfect sync. You'll fight against Chaos forces that deal a lot of damage, but as long as you have a good armor set and a weapon you can control well, you'll have no trouble completing the Operation.

Ballistic Engine

Ballistic Engine is the last Operation but, surprisingly, it isn't the most difficult one. Prepare to have your vision reduced from time to time due to the sand storms in the open areas, and be careful with the surprising enemy attacks. Don't underestimate this mission, but be aware that as long as you have good defenses, you'll manage to complete it.

Vox Liberatis

Vox Liberatis can be quite challenging as it contains tons of enemies, and you'll fight against both Tyranids and Chaos warriors. The most difficult part of this Operation is adapting to the different types of opponents. Additionally, the objectives are relatively long, and they'll often ask you to capture points, which means that you'll have to hold the line for a while.

Reliquary

Reliquary is hands-down the toughest battle in Space Marine 2, and the Chaos enemies have no equal when it comes to strength and survivability. The Operation is very long, and you'll eventually have to defeat the Heldrake, who is the perfect combination of flame and aggression.
