Diablo 4 Vessel of Hatred: Uber Duriel Location & Loot Table (Season 6)

One of these bosses is Uber Duriel, and not only is he a fun and challenging fight that can reward you with some of the best gear in the game, but he can also drop Mythic items, which are the best equipment available. In this article, we will go over how and where you can summon Uber Duriel, as well as the full list of items that can drop from him in the new Diablo 4: Vessel of Hatred expansion.

Uber Duriel Location & Summon Requirements

The location of Uber Duriel's boss arena can be found within the Gaping Crevasse dungeon in the Southern Expanse zone of Kehjistan. The closest waypoint can be found in the city of Gea Kul, which is just west of the dungeon entrance. Once you enter the dungeon, you will find a few packs of enemies right before entering the boss arena, which contains the summoning altar.

In order to summon Uber Duriel, you are going to need two different resources, which will come from other endgame bosses:

• Mucus-Slick Egg: Dropped from the Echo of Varshan boss fight in any of the Torment difficulties.
• Shard of Agony: Dropped from the Grigoire, The Galvanic Saint boss fight in any of the Torment difficulties.

Since these resources require a lot of Helltide and Whispers of the Dead farming, we highly recommend finding a group on Discord or any of the other Diablo 4 communities, as it will greatly increase the number of Uber Duriel kills you can do per hour. 

How to Summon Uber Duriel

Uber Duriel can only be found and summoned while playing on any of the new Torment difficulties introduced in the Vessel of Hatred expansion. This means that you will need to reach level 60 and complete a Tier 20 run of the Pit before you can summon him. Higher Torment difficulties will make the fight much harder, with an increased life pool and damage for him, while your character receives penalties to armor and resistances. However, defeating him on higher difficulties will be much more rewarding, with more Unique items dropping and an increased chance of getting Mythics.

Here are the materials needed to summon Uber Duriel on any of the four Torment difficulties:

• 2x Mucus-Slick Egg
• 2x Shard of Agony

Don't forget that you can use the new party finder to create and join groups of players, so you can share the materials in a rotation, making it much more efficient and rewarding.

Uber Duriel Loot Table & Rewards

Uber Duriel has two loot tables, one being similar to the other endgame bosses and providing you with a way to farm certain Unique items, and the other being explicitly for the strongest items in the game - Mythic Uniques. These items are extremely powerful, and most of them can be used on nearly every build in the game.
