Pokemon GO: PokeStops & Gyms in Walmart Stores
If you're a Pokemon GO player from the States, October 20 is a big day for you! Starting then, all Walmart Supercenters across the United States will have more PokeStops and Gyms! This will make it easier for players to catch Pokemon, gather items, battle rivals, and do everything that PokeStops and Gyms offer.
With 90 percent of Americans living within about 10 miles of a Walmart store, the added PokeStops will improve availability for your Pokemon GO adventures by offering additional hubs for gathering and catching Pokemon with your local community.

Pokemon GO Gift Cards
Starting October 20, you can also buy physical Pokemon GO gift cards at Walmart stores! It's possible that your local Walmart might not stock these up instantly; however, you can start finding them across the States after that date, and all stores will catch up eventually.
These gift cards are a brand-new way to buy PokeCoins, with slightly better conversion rates than in-game offers. If you can't find gift cards in any of the stores near you, you can also purchase them from the online store Walmart.com and the Walmart app.
Here are the four different kinds of gift cards you'll be able to buy:
- $10: 1,250 PokeCoins
- $25: 3,300 PokeCoins
- $50: 7,000 PokeCoins
- $100: 15,000 PokeCoins

Pokemon GO: Community Ambassadors Gift Cards
If you don't know what Community Ambassadors are, they are volunteers who sometimes run community events to support Niantic. Community Ambassadors receive item codes and merch to distribute among the Pokemon GO community - and they will also be getting a limited number of physical gift cards to give away!
And that concludes it! If you live close by to a Walmart, chances are that you'll be giving the new PokeStops a spin really soon! Stick around for October 20, and more news within the Pokemon GO community. There's a bunch happening these days!
